James Douglas Sloan, 86, of Keaau, died Sept. 28, 2021, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Gainesville, Georgia, he was a retired chief customer service agent for Hawaiian Airlines and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

Anna Ogilvie
Anna Gay Kiliwehikauaikanahele Lindsey Ogilvie, 56, of Henderson, Nevada, and formerly of the Big Island, died Aug. 21, 2021, at her residence.Born in Honokaa, she was a long-time employee of Goodfellow Bros. in Hawaii and Portland, Ore., served as an executive assistant at Turnberry Construction and Peachtree Foamcraft, both in Las Vegas.

She is survived by son, Anderson James Ogilvie (Joann) Lindsey of Ocean View; daughter, Lindsay Noelle Ogilvie of Henderson, Nevada; parents, Anna (Gay) and Anderson Lindsey of Waimea; sisters, Heidi (Brian) Mcvey and Heather (Kalani) Lindsey-Lopez of Waimea; four grandchildren; nephews, nieces; and one grandniece.

Milton Branco Jr.
Milton Rapozo Branco Jr., 66, of Hilo, died Sept. 28, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born Sept. 26, 1955, in Japan, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Honokaa Nutrition and Senior Club, Visayan Filipino Club, and Pension Club.

Yvonne Leslie Caplener, 91, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 6, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1929, in Kapaa, Kauai, she was a retired nurse at the Wahiawa General Hospital on Oahu.

Kalamaokalani “Lama” Keith Kelekolio-Crivello, 29, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 25, 2021 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1991, in Kealakekua, he was a sales associate for Xtreme Kona Partners, LLC.

Neal Kazuo Shibata, 64, of Hilo, died Sept. 28, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Hilo.

Thomas Munden
Thomas Lee Munden, 69, of Hawi, died Sept. 24, 2021, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Oct. 28, 1951, in Glendale, California, he was a financial negotiator and a member of the Hawaii Farm Bureau and the Archaelogical Institute of America.

Gary Hagerman
Gary Neil Hagerman, 83, of Waimea, died June 3, 2021, at his residence. Born July 3, 1937 in Elmira, New York, he was a retired attorney, volunteer for Isaac’s Art Gallery in Waimea and North Hawaii Hospital, past president with Hospice of Hilo, active in community theatre and chorus, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Francisco Lavarias Padua, 89, of Waikoloa, died Oct. 2, 2021, at his residence. Born Sept. 20, 1932, in Panaga, Manaoag, Pangisanan, Philippines, he was a farmer and worked for Hawaii Care and Cleaning Co. at the Waikoloa Hilton.
